The established range of Pyrotec "H" series combustion units are designed specifically to burn general clean packaging materials comprising wood, paper and cardboard.

The entry level range is manually fed and comprises three models H45, H85 and HP, all fitted with secondary burners as standard to ensure smokeless operation and full compliance with the Clean Air Act.

The H45 and H85 are available for disposal of general mixtures of waste whilst the HP is designed specifically for disposal of whole or part of wood pallets.

Each unit is available with heat recovery module for either hot air or hot water application and can be provided with optional combustion air fan depending on the nature and density of the waste.

Constructed from heavy duty fabricated steelwork, the combustion chamber is refractory lined throughout with heavy duty hearth construction. The heat exchangers are heavy duty and of modular design with insulated off-take chamber. This chamber is fitted with a secondary burner as standard and exhaust gases are ducted direct to atmosphere by the top mounted stainless steel chimney.

Installation comprises of simply placing on a prepared flat base, connection of the chimney and connection of services. Hot water or hot air systems require simple site specific arrangements and the flexibility allows location of the plant wherever convenient.

Larger waste to energy systems are available, designed to comply fully with the Secretary of State's Guidance Notes PG1/12, including turnkey projects requiring complete waste processing comprising waste shredding, transfer of waste, storage of waste, automatic feeding systems and heat recovery specifically engineered to clients requirements.
